Genelia

Genelia
“Rook jao, yeh shaadi nahin ho sakti! Ladki pahle se hishaadi-shuda hai!”

Yes, we have heard this dialogue a million times – in almost every other Bollywood movie and in the TV serials!

This filmy drama is becoming a big time reality in the life of Bolywood actress Genelia D’Souaza.

Genelia is married to John Abraham – the so-called Pandit Bhagwat alleges!

Only yesterday, the tabloids all over India reported how Genelia D’Souza and Riteish Deshmukh are busy making plans for their marriage, now that their families have finally agreed to bless the couple! The buzz is that the couple is planning twoweddings – one in a Maharashtrian style to please Deshmukh family, and the other, a church wedding to seek blessings from the D’Souza clan!

Little did Riteish, and for that matter, even the the bride-to-be, Genelia herself, know that she is already a married woman – figuratively!

To John Abraham – as Pandit Bhagwat claims!

Ohhhh! Did they elope, now that John Abraham is no longer with his long-standing girlfriend, or was it a filmy-style weddingin some lonely abandoned church – you would think!

How does this Pandit know? Any proof? Any witness?

Well, this self-promoting “Guruji” maintains that he is the proof and he is the witness, ‘cuz he was the one who performed the Wedding between Genelia D’Souza and John Abraham! Complete with all the Hindu vedic rituals and mantras; exchanging garlands and wearing a mangalsutra; and taking saat pheras in front of holy fire!

Nothing was left undone for this so-called wedding ceremony – on the sets of Nishikant Kamat’s upcoming flick ‘Force’!

The Pandit blatantly insist that “John and Genelia are husband and wife.”

Pandit Bhagwat wants to explain the authenticity of the wedding rituals that he performed on the sets to Genelia, and for that reason, he has approached the producer, Vipul Shah.

Baffled by this bizarre claim, the producer says: “I’ve never experienced anything of this sort!”

Begani shaadi mein Pandit diwana!

Or, should we say, Genelia ki shaadi mein Pandit Bhagwat diwana?

May be it’s a publicity stunt only!

What’s your two-cents on this?
