BioWare announced Thursdaymorning that it is opening up pre-orders for Star Wars: The Old Republic, the developer’s much-anticipated foray into the world of massive multiplayer online games.
The developer is letting gamers pre-order the standard, digital deluxe or a special collector’s edition of the game through its site for early access to the game in addition to 30 days of game time.
The collectors’ edition costs $149.99, the digital deluxe edition is
$79.99, and the standard edition is $59.99.
Those who opt for the biggest package will also get a custom security authentication key and tons of swag, including seven digital items, a map of the Old Republic galaxy, a collectible box and a CD.
If you’re interested in the mid-level package, the digital deluxe edition comes with five additional digital items and can be pre-ordered through EA’s new Origin Web store.
