JetBlue Airways is adding more flights to Costa Rica, announcing the start of their four weekly non-stop flights between New York's John F Kennedy International Airport and the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia, Guanacaste, starting November 17.
The airline announced prices of under us$300 for flights that will operate on Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays.

The flights leave New York at 9:40am and arrive Liberia at 2:05pm. The return flight leaves Costa Rica at 3pm and arrives back in New York at 9pm.

Liberia is on the growing list of destinations, as more airlines offer direct and non-stop flights to Costa Rica's beaches and resorts.

The announcement on Wednesday was made from Casa Presidencial in Zapote, where Costa Rica's presidenta, Laura Chinchilla and Tourism Minister, Allan Flores, joined JetBlue officials in a joint press conference.

For now and until July 15, JetBlue is offering flights for only us$139 each way for travel between November 17, 2011 and February 15, 2012.
