Amazonia Singapore

Amazonia Singapore
Amazonia promises to be the next venue for family fun.

The integrated indoor entertainment centre for families features Southeast Asia's first glow-in-the-dark indoor golf course as well as an interactive spaceball shoot-out game.

There is also a children's playground featuring a giant wave slide.

Ms Rany Moran, the CEO of WOWZ Entertainment, said her team spent two years sourcing the world for unique play ideas.

She said: "We see there's a gap in this entertainment segment in the market. We feel there are limited things (for a family to do together) in Singapore....a place where the whole family can sit down, enjoy really nice good food....especially families with different age range."

Amazonia also has a dining area with its own theme bistro.

The 9,000-square-foot complex, which opened at the Great World City earlier this month, is the largest of its kind in Singapore.

Amazonia Singapore's general manager, Alvin Kaye Bacani, said: "The maximum capacity that we can hold here is about 80 to 100 children. We're going to deploy staff who are well-trained in doing first aid, in case there are accidents."
