A few weeks a go I was asked by the lovely Sarah to do an interview with her for her blog. I of course jumped at the chance and here it is (I have stole it from here blog)

Hey Lovelys
 Time for the first lovely lady, to be put in the hot seat. Meet Steph from over at topshopprincess0188.blogspot.com. I’ve been a follower of Steph for a while actually, I first saw Steph on Youtube under the name of Topshopprincess0188 and then I discovered her blog and immediately started to follow.

Hi Sarah :)

Thank you for agreeing to answer a few questions for me. Are you sitting comfortably?
No problem, I'm looking forward to it- I feel famous, haha

Firstly how did you come up with the name for your blog because it took me ages to think of something good?
I really don't know, it came to me pretty quickly though. I guess I think of my self as a bit of a princess (I'm not a snob or anything though), I have a tiara tattooed on my back & I just love the princess idea. Put that together with my love for Topshop and viola.

What first made you decide to start a blog?
I had been thinking about making a blog for a month or so, and when I found out one of my best friends Maxime had one then that made me feel like I needed to do it straight away. She is a beauty blogger so I kind of fell into the beauty blogging thing, so that’s why I follow and read a lot of beauty blogs.

How long have you been blogging for now?
*looks back at my first post* I started in early December of 2009 :)

With just over 600 followers in quite a short amount of time did you ever think your blog would be so popular?
Nope, I didn't at all, and I still don't think of my self as popular in the blogging land either! Don't get me wrong 600 followers is AMAZING and I feel so happy that lovely girlies take their time to read my blog, but there are so many other fantastic blogs out there that I know I'd never get on the same level as.

Blogging like any type of writing you need lots of ideas and inspiration. Where do you get yours from?
I think reading other blogs gives you inspiration, as well as this I just write what I feel and think about everything and anything. I don't think my blog is pinned down to one thing, beauty/fashion etc so I just write what I want. At the end of the day it's my blog and I have to write what makes me happy and then if others wish to read and come along in my journey that’s great.

What are you favourite posts to read and write?
My favourite to both read & write are OOTD's and general fashion post's. I think I've gone a bit OTT with the outfit post's on my blog recently, but I love reading them so much so I think why not. I'm such a nosey person too, I love looking at other peoples photos, and photography really interests me.

I don't think people can ever go OTT with Outfit of the day posts

One of the things that draws me to blogging is the little community and friendships you have and for a newbie like myself it sometimes feels hard to be "accepted" what advice or hints and tips would you give?
I never really went looking for this, it just happened I think. Twitter is a huge help, and the ladies I've met on there are truly amazing and gorgeous. Chatting to people as much as I can, as well as commenting on as many blogs I can with something interesting and nice to say also helps too. I don't think you should 'promote' your blog too much though, I also write on twitter when I have a new post up-sure that's fine! But when you shove things in peoples face (you'd be surprised how many people do) then we don't like it!!

What would you say the best things about blogging are?
I really like blogging because it gives me something different to do & think about, I love the little community like you said and reading blogs just really puts a smile on my face. Getting nice comment is always lovely too, and this keeps me going

Can you sum your blog up for us and what can we expect to see from topshopprincess0188.blogspot.com in the future?
My blog is about ME :) hehe, lots of outfits, lots of fun, and lots of love for my loves
