Balthazar Blank (Nicholas Cage), Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina) and Veronica (Monica Bellucci) is the three disciples Merlin (James A. Stephens), the magician was tough. When Merlin Horvath betrayed, he decided to give a ring to Balthazar.
The ring is believed will find a student who would help prevent the mission of evil Balthazar Horvath who wanted to rule the world in its own way. Veronica loves Balthazar, willing to sacrifice himself to enter into a wooden doll with evil wizards, Hovarth and Morgana (Alice Krige), an ally of Horvath.

Over the years, the search is finally over. Balthazar inadvertently managed to find Dave (Jay Barchel), a naive young man who studied physics hobby.

Films with a budget amounting to 180 million U.S. dollars is expected to be successful at the box office, following the two-film collaboration between Cage and director Jon Turteltaub at the previous film, National Treasure (2004) and National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007).
Although not too special, this film is quite entertaining for fans of Nicolas Cage is famous for his action movies like Con Air, The Rock, and the last Kick Ass.
As a newcomer, Jay Baruchel able to compensate the senior act. Baruchel recently, analysts predicted the film would become an even more brilliant young actor in his career.
In the year 2010 alone, he has starred in several movies are quite successful as She's Out of My League and the How to Train Your Dragon. In the near future, he will perform well in the movie Good Neighbours
